What is Luwy?

Luwy is a speaking and communication trainer. You practise a hard conversation with an AI that pushes back, Luwy finds the answer that hurt you, and you retry it until it works.

How do I practise a difficult conversation?

Say it out loud to someone who pushes back, then redo the part that went badly. Silent rehearsal misses the hard part, which is reacting to what the other person does. In Luwy you pick a situation, talk it out, see the weak moment quoted back to you, and retry it.

Is Luwy an English test?

No. Luwy isn't a certified assessment and doesn't replace IELTS, TOEFL or any official exam. It trains how you handle conversations in English. It scores what you said and how you said it, not your accent.

What can I practice?

Job interviews, pay and promotion talks, disagreeing with a manager, handling an unhappy customer, presentation Q&A, small talk, and thinking on your feet. You can also describe your own situation in a mission.

What does Luwy measure from my voice?

Words per minute, filler words, pauses and your longest silence. These are counted from your recording or live speech, so they're measurements, not guesses. If you type your answer, Luwy says delivery wasn't measured.

How does the weak moment work?

After a conversation, Luwy picks the one answer that changed it, quotes your exact words, and explains why it hurt. You retry that answer and see both versions side by side. Scores in a simulation are estimates for that scenario, not claims about the other person's mind.

What is Prove it?

Prove it is a fresh situation with no hints and no model answer. If you handle it on your own, the skill gets credit. Finishing practice alone doesn't count as mastery.

Does Luwy keep my recordings?

Luwy is built not to keep raw audio after a feature has processed it. Some features send a short clip to a speech provider to check pronunciation. The Privacy Notice lists providers and what is retained.

Does Luwy work in other languages?

Not yet. Practice and feedback are in English.

How does the 7-day free trial work?

Every new account gets 7 days with every feature open, including audience rooms and Prove it. No card is needed. After day 7 you move to the Free plan and nothing is charged. Small caps still apply during the week: 5 Simulate conversations and 5 Impromptu scored answers. While the free week is still running you can start Starter or Pro with a card for a 7-day trial instead. It replaces the rest of the free week, and you pay nothing if you cancel before day 7. The trial is once per person, so after the free week ends Starter and Pro charge from day one. Checkout shows the price and the first charge date before you confirm. Cancel before then and you aren't charged. You can cancel from the billing page.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free speaking test needs no account. A free account keeps 3 Simulate conversations and 3 Impromptu scored answers each month, with no card and no charge. Paid plans start at RM14.90 a month, and Starter or Pro can be tried free for 7 days with a card.

Do the voices sound Malaysian?

Luwy's characters speak English with a Malaysian accent and are set up for words like lah, paiseh and bak kut teh. They are AI voices, not recordings of real people, and a local word can still sound off now and then. If you hear one, write to [email protected] and we will fix it.

How much does Luwy cost?

Free is RM0 with no card. Starter is RM14.90 a month and Pro is RM34.90 a month. You can try Starter or Pro free for 7 days with a card, and cancel before day 7 to pay nothing.

I didn't get my confirmation email. What now?

Check your spam folder and wait a few minutes. Then use Resend confirmation on the sign-up page. If it still doesn't arrive, try a different email address.

How old do I need to be?

You must be 18 or older. Luwy is built for Malaysian university students and young professionals, and it is not available to anyone under 18.

How do I contact support?

Email [email protected]. Include the email you signed up with and what you were doing when it went wrong. We reply within two working days.
